I think very few of us can do 100% without XP. I still can't. Linux and gaming is still problematic. Ubuntu can't recognize the breakout box of my soundcard. The same goes for my printer.

But it is getting better with every version.

I was trying to use Kubuntu on a dual boot, but it couldn't recognize my video card. Oh well.

Now that it's up and running, I may need to put Fedora and then Windows Server 2003 on this computer for class.

Never enough computers.

You don't know of any freeware virtual machines that run in Linux do you?

I'm going to go look for one right now.

I asked a good friend of mine who is an expert on linux and he adviced virtualbox.

You can download it at http://www.virtualbox.org/ , but you probably can download and install in one go through the Add/Remove Application in Kubuntu.
